Where do I park?
Free on street parking is available on 16th Street in front of the studio.
Any parking in the lot beside or behind the studio is also free and available for studio use. Access from Market St, 16th St, or Dock St.
How hot are the classes?
85-95 awesome degrees like the warm NC sun. The heat is effective at creating transformation: your body is challenged and able to move in new ways. You’ll walk out of the room feeling awakened and invigorated.
Give it a try, you might surprise yourself. At least you'll enjoy the cold lavender towel at the end.
Do you have showers?
Yes - 2! Bring your own towel or borrow one of ours.
I'm a beginner, what class do I take?
All of our classes are "all levels". The style of yoga we teach and our teaching style is accessible to everyone, because it’s adaptable to where you’re at. Power Yoga works on everyone: from the never-exercised-before newbie to professional athletes.
Baron Baptiste, says it best: “Come as you are, not as you should be.”
It's my first class, what do I need to know?
Nothing! Just show up 10-15 minutes before class to sign a waiver and get familiar with the space. Let us take care of the rest.
Is my first class free?
Even better: your first 3 weeks is only $30! Power Yoga is most effective at creating results when practiced 3-5x/week. We want you to get the full experience of how life-changing this practice is by making showing up regularly a no brainer.
What do I wear and bring with me?
Wear clothes you can move in, clothes you don't mind getting sweaty. Sweat wicking athletic apparel is best, and anything comfortable will work!
Bring a mat, water and a hand towel for sweat.
We have mats & hand towels to borrow, mat towels to rent or purchase, bottled water for sale and an endless water fountain.
