Service Description

This series is perfect for anyone looking to benefit physically and mentally from yoga who have any physical limitations or restrictions. Our chair yoga is designed to improve mobility and flexibility, and create community while allowing more people to experience our journey into power yoga philosophy. We adapt traditional poses to seated positions, making it ideal for individuals with limited mobility, injuries, beginners or those who prefer a gentler practice. Regular participation in chair yoga has been linked to increased range of motion, improved joint health and strength, and enhanced flexibility. Beyond the physical advantages, chair yoga also holds potential mental health benefits. Many practitioners report a decrease in symptoms of depression and anxiety, attributing it to the mindfulness and relaxation techniques embedded in the practice. The calming nature of chair yoga promotes a harmonious balance between the mind and body. Taught by Charity Tuttle Thursdays February 8 - March 14 $75 for 6 classes or $20 to drop-in or use your PCPY membership or Class Passes 5 participant minimum**
