Emily Walthall

A Bit About Emily

Emily is originally from Greensboro and now lives in Hampstead, where she loves being close to the beach. She is an RYT500, having completed her 200-hour training in Greensboro in 2021 and her 300-hour training on Lake Atitlan in Guatemala in 2025.

Emily was drawn to yoga during a challenging period in her life while seeking deeper self understanding, a nonlinear journey she continues to embrace. She is passionate about teaching because her practice transformed her life, and she aims to create space for others to reconnect with their center.

Outside the studio, she enjoys being outdoors, often walking her dog, biking, or surfing. She spent the last year living in Costa Rica and dreams of leading international retreats. Travel, a good espresso, and a gluten free sweet treat are among her simple joys.
