A Bit About Autumn
Autumn is originally from Oregon, however, she has had the opportunity to call many places home from Santa Barbara, CA to Oahu to Bali, Indonesia. After traveling the US for two years in an RV with her husband, two dogs, a cat and a newborn she swapped coasts to be nearer her husband’s family in 2021. She now happily calls Wilmington home.
Autumn seamlessly blends her education in dance, Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga into dynamic, flowing classes that gently challenge her students to break old habits and move beyond perceived limitations. Autumn’s skilled hands-on adjustments will help you find your perfect alignment. Her style is light and approachable and she believes in the power of a good story as a tool for learning, so don’t be surprised when you hear an ancient story of the Gods and Goddesses of Hinduism or a modern tale from her adventures on and off of her mat.

Autumn loves yoga in it's ability to shift our mindset and take us from “I can’t do that” to “How can I do that?”. Autumn encourages her students to be conscious creators… to have the courage to take risks (both big and small), the courage to listen deeply to their body, to their gut, to their heart, the grace to “roll with the punches” on this messy path we call life and to be willing to laugh, learn and meet ourselves with compassion when we “fail”.

Autumn began her yoga journey in 2000, but really fell in love with the practice a few years later once she was in college at Boston University. In 2013, she took the leap and signed up for her 200 hour training with Yoga Indigo in Bend, OR. By 2015 she completed both her 300 hour yoga teacher training with Zuna Yoga in Bali, Indonesia and her 85 hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in Portland, Oregon. Autumn has led nearly 30 yoga retreats in the United States and abroad. She has been featured on Insider.com, Self.com, Zappos.com, among others and in 2019 she authored The Little Book of Mudra Meditations.
