A Bit About Charity
Charity is a NC native that grew up in Winston Salem and loved art, playing soccer, basketball and volleyball. Shortly after high school she left to serve in the US Air Force and traveled the world for 8 years landing in the southwest US. She studied at the University of New Mexico receiving her BA in Architecture and her Masters in Sports Administration with a concentration on Risk Management and the Design and Construction of Athletic Facilities. This was her way of combining her two loves; art and sports.

After 24 years on the west coast she decided that the east coast was calling and moved to Wimington, NC in 2020 to reconnect with her roots. 2020 brought on a lot of changes and Charity found yoga to improve her mental health, mindfulness and resilience in times of uncertainty. The more she practiced, the more she loved it. Yoga eventually became her go to activity to find internal peace and remain present. Her personal experience with yoga piqued her interest and led her to teacher training at PCPY in 2023. Since completing her teacher training she has invested hours in studying various ways to make yoga more accessible and intends to bring all of its benefits to many people.

She is a local real estate expert and a social impact entrepreneur with an apparel brand called Be Mo' Kind. She is dedicated to positively impacting her community and loves working with youth, seniors and military veterans. Charity believes in empowering others and is your biggest cheerleader. When she is not selling homes, talking to local youth and practicing/teaching yoga, she is spending time with her partner, 4 dogs, and likely on a spin bike or at the beach with coffee in hand.
