A Bit About Kelley
Kelley is a born and raised New Yorker, and after living in Los Angeles for 8 years, recently moved to Wilmington.
She is an iced Americano drinker, surfer, novel reader and quintessential Capricorn.

As a Somatic Behavioral Embodiment Coach and Founder of Root to Rise Health for almost a decade, Kelley supports men and women in feeling empowered and grounded using psychotherapy, behavior analysis, and somatic embodiment. She stands for sustainable and playful self-growth by blending research-backed and intuition-led techniques to find clarity and acceptance, from the inside, out. Kelley guides her clients to deep self trust by connecting them to their bodies, in order to process their emotions and beliefs, welcoming all parts to come forward, feel safe, and become well-resourced.

Yoga and movement are, and always have been, a crucial pillar in Kelley's work, as well as in her own personal evolution.

Kelley fell in love with yoga after her first class in 2007. It became a tangible and repeatable way to come home to herself, by deepening her connection to her body, and igniting her senses of joy and strength. She is a life-long learner when it comes to both new ways of practicing, and different methods of teaching, to continuously bring a well-rounded and embodied approach to her students and clients.

Kelley holds her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, and Master’s of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis. Kelley is also a Certified Integrative Health Coach, and Meditation Teacher, and holds certifications in Integrative Somatic Parts Work, and Somatic Attachment Therapy.
Currently studying Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery Yoga, as well as participating in a 30 hour Katonah Yoga Teacher Training.

Her style, in all aspects, is very much a balance of structure and flow.
